I am an idiot.

Ewwww bio.

No… -.- It’s 1851-1900… not 1850-1899… noobs. =D

I am still nonplussed as to why this is an incorrect statement.

You can divide up a space of time into whatever you like… You have to mention second to show which half you mean; it’d only be redundant if you said there are two halves or something like that… You could be referring to a different era, but we can’t figure that out from the information given…

So what’s the issue?

EDIT: Well, I’m an idiot. I thought you were just commenting in general and thought you made a mistake.

1851-1900 it is.

LOL, don’t people here know basic math?
The second half of the 19th century = 1950-2000
its not rocket sugery, dudes. looks liek 2400 SAT doesn’t make you not ■■■■■■■■!!1!

Idiot…

^I thought I was being waaay too obvious. Turns out I wasn’t

That’s what I said…

Umm, I was not being serious. I thought I made that pretty obvious. In addition to the points transformers93 mentioned, there was also the reference to “rocket surgery” (with surgery misspelled as a bonus). And then there was the “!!1!”. Also, I almost never type in all lower case (see my post history). Hopefully this convinces you that I am not an idiot or a ■■■■■■. :)

No. You are still an idiot. And a ■■■■■■ as well.

Why? For making a joke that you didn’t get?
If it makes you happy to think me an idiot, feel free. Just wanted to let you guys know that I was not being serious.

Why does the answer to this proposed question matter?

lol yes I can only imagine on a test:
____ 12. “What is meant by the 2nd half of the 19th Century?”
A. July 1850-1900
B. 1851-1900
C. 1850-1899
D. 1851-1899

^I got that one wrong :[

I chose E. None of the above.

Actually, 1950-2000 is 51 yrs. Hence…1951-2000. Or 1950-1999. One of the two.

Edit. I just forgot to read the entire above page…
The 2nd half of the 19th century=the war of 1812.
jk :D

maybe that was an SAT practice question? I guess we’ll never know

I can see it now…“SAT Makers Unveil New Section: Century Reasoning”

from page 1.

yeah, pretty much the same thing

CHEM 999: Nucleophilic Bases and their Contribution to 22nd Century Society

Does anyone else wonder what these words are?
