A few test centers are closed today due to the snow. However, my test center is NOT closed. All the nearby test centers are closed tho and it is snowing as much as it is in the areas where the test centers are closed. I live in the boarding school and a few of the boarders including myself were planning on taking the test on 5th of December and now we have no ways to get to the test center. It is snowing a lot and our boarding school is located in a country side, 30 minutes away from the test center and our head of the dorm just wouldn't risk the dangers of taking us all the way there. (In our city it snows like once in a decade ...)

What should I do? I am a senior and I need to take the december test and so do my friends. I emailed them so that thy would close the test center and give us a make up one. The test center we are going always have only a few students and te students from our boarding school make up the majority and now we all can't go. What should I do?

but they are already closed…they wont sse my email or answer calls till monday and the test tomorrow and I cant take the test…I doubt they will give us make up tests when there was already a test on saturday in our test center…what can I do?

Only registered students can take a makeup test. Students who have already tested during the same administration may not use a makeup administration to retest or to take a different SAT Program test.

^ My friends and i are all registered but we will not take the test or we Can’t take the test tomorrow altho the test will still be held. Do you think we can go as stand bys then?

This whole thing is really frustrating. It is just as bad here as it is in the place test centers are closed so I really don’t understand why CB wouldnt close ours. It is really unfair for us who just can’t take the test and we are all seniors and this test is crucial to us. I am seriosly pi$$ed.

I will be up all night to keep on checking if the test center is closed. This is ridiculous. SO UNFAIR !!!URGH!!!

Is there a way to contact the test center in the morning? Would your headmaster contact them for you, since you are the majority of the test takers?

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. I wouldn’t stay up all night though (sorry, my “mom” hat is firmly planted on my head). Regardless of what tomorrow holds for you, you can face it better with a good night’s sleep.

Maybe show them the link with all the closings (are you fairly close to Houston?).
