SO.................CHANCES??????

Everything looks good except your SATs. Sometimes Chicago will overlook the SATs if they like everything else, but they won’t help. Why not just send in your ACT score which is pretty good. Have you applied EA or regular admission?

Thanks for your reply, newenglandparent. I will see how my other SAT/ACT scores taken recently turn out before I decide what to send, but as of right now, I may just submit ACT like you said. I am applying regular admission.

bop bop bop, bop to the top

(excuse the random high school musical reference)

over 100 views and only one response…that’s less than one response for every 100 views

The thing is, your profile looks kind of borderline, so there’s not much we can tell you.
Any AP scores from last year to present? SAT IIs?
Your relatively low SAT math score hurts you as a prospective econ major.

since you made it to calc bc you should be capable of scoring higher than 590 on Math…which is really going to hurt you

…

bump…

wait, 590 math in calc bc, seriously?

Alright, can we all quit harping on the SAT math score already? I realize it’s the least clutch performance in standardized test taking history, but I’m asking for chances, not an evaluation of my SAT math score. Anyway, I retook it, and I’m waiting to see how the November scores turn out.

Back to the chancing…let’s just be hypothetical and say I submit only the ACT. Go from there.

was your act math like a 24 :)

i don’t know too much about chicago, but you should be proud of your accomplishments thus far
if you don’t choke on the math, then you might get yourself a pretty meaty superscore

haha dontcha, new ACT scores just came out. My math sub was a 32…

32 COMPOSITE ACT! Does this change things? Chances???

32 ACT is outstanding. Don’t send your SAT scores.

Alright icy9ff8, I’ll wait to see how my Nov. SATs turn out, but for now im prbably planning to just submit ACTs.

More chances for UChicago???

wow, talk about bad karma…my act math: 33—>28 on retake

bummer dude…I was on pace for a 34 until the final science section…25!!! AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!

Anyways…chances anyone? Anybody at all?

major bumpage

In addition to chances, I have another important question that begs anwering. I just found out that UChicago’s early application numbers went up 43% this year! 43%!!! First of all, is this true, and second of all, are my chances substantially affected because I didn’t apply EA? I read in US News that Chicago is among some of the schools in the country that admit about the same percentage EA as RD. Is this even accurate? I’m really nervous now. Please advise.

i love you dwight…marry me?
and you seem to excel at tennis…you aren’t looking to get recruited?
