I am going to apply with these stats... chances

I probably go to the best school in my state. It is public and a magnet school and was even ranked on newsweeks top 100 best high schools. It is really competitive and has about 2000 kids in the whole school and about 500 in my graduating class.

I AM APPLYING ED and PLAN TO PLAY SPRINT FOOTBALL..... I have emailed the coaches and wrote about this in my essays

3.88 GPA~~~ This places me in the top 10% of my class..... my school only says if your in the top 10%, 25% and 50%
33 ACT

I will graduate with having taken 11 AP Classes. We have block scheduling so I take 8 classes a semester. It is very hard and only have 1.5 hours of a class every two days.

I've taken all AP and Honors Classes and have done very well
AP Scores:

Human Geography: 5
World History:4
U.S. History: 5
Psychology:5
Biology: 5

EC:
Started a Intramural Football Team that takes up nearly all my time. Nearly 75 students attend weekly. I would guess that I spend about 10 hours a week organizing this. All of the teachers and administrators support this and I have been elected President of the club.

Tennis: 9-10
Lacrosse:11-12
Track: 11-12 ~~Captain
Ultimate Frisbee: 11-12 ~~captain
Chess Team: 9-12 ~~captain
FBLA: 9-12 ~~hold office
.... those are the main ones
I'm in a lot more clubs, I just dont think I've recieved a lot of awards in them to make them really count.

I have a bunch of awards that I'm not going to list but I have a few good ones.

My recs are really good. I'm really cool with my teachers.
My counselor rec will be generic because in a school with 2000 students, its impossible to get to know your counselor very well.

I would say that my essays are good. They arent amazing or anything but at the same time, they are horrible. I would say they are average when compared to every essay submitted.

Something that makes me really special is that I have a U.S. patent to my name that I am in the process of endorsing and have been having quite a bit of success. I'm sure I will include this into my essays and I think I will do well on the other few as well.

what do you think my chances are?

THANKS

bump

By the way, I know that my counselor recs wont be amazing because my counselor from grades nine to eleven stepped down this year which sucks so I got a new one for my senior year. I've talked to her quite a bit but I'm positive she doesnt know me as well as my other counselor did.

being in the top 10% of an extremely competitive school will only help you... but as i just asked someone else on a chances thread... if you are applying to wharton are you taking calc

yea what school are you applying to

You are a competitive candidate, but beyond that, we can say little.

Sorry! I totally forgot. I am applying to Wharton.

Yes, I am taking AP BC Calc. I am also in a Math/Science/Technology program which is a rigorous program which takes 150 students. I had to apply to get into it.

Any other ideas?

ideas no, chances good :P
