PLEASE CHANCE ME .... It'll take you like 10 seconds!!!!!!

Hey I would love someone to give me their opinion on my chance at getting into Wharton at Penn.

I probably go to the best school in my state. It is public and a magnet school and was even ranked on newsweeks top 100 best high schools. It is really competitive and has about 2000 kids in the whole school and about 500 in my graduating class.

3.92 GPA~~~ This places me in the top 10% of my class..... my school only says if your in the top 10%, 25% and 50%
2110 SAT
33 ACT

I've taken all AP and Honors Classes and have done very well
AP Scores:

AB Calc: 5
Macroeconomics: 5
Human Geography: 5
World History:4
U.S. History: 5
Psychology:5
Biology: 5

EC:
Tennis: 9-10
Lacrosse:11-12
Track: 11-12 ~~Captain
Ultimate Frisbee: 11-12 ~~captain
Chess Team: 9-12 ~~captain
FBLA: 9-12 ~~hold office
.... those are the main ones
I'm in a lot more clubs, I just dont think I've recieved a lot of awards in them to make them really count.

I have a bunch of awards that I'm not going to list but I have a few good ones.

My recs are really good. I'm really cool with my counselor and going to a school with 2000 kids, it's really hard to do that.

Something that makes me really special is that I have a U.S. patent to my name that I am in the process of endorsing and have been having quite a bit of success. I'm sure I will include this into my essays and I think I will do well on the other few as well.

what do you think my chances are?

THANKS

Everything looks good except for two things:

(1) You will need about a 2200 SAT for Wharton (you only need a 2100 for Penn, but we're talking about Wharton here); and

(2) You will need to list a few more leadership activities for Wharton. Perhaps if you are working on developing your patent into a viable product and have started a marketing plan, etc. then that may count as one leadership activity--hard to say, but it probably depends on how you describe this activity.

Good luck.

At this point, you are still a slight reach, despite the 3.92 GPA (I was a 3.96 GPA UW myself in high school, so I know what it takes for some of these programs). Just work on the two things above and you should be able to move your chances up to at least "Match to Slight Reach"--then the recommendations and essay will hopefully move you to "Match"--and get you an acceptance letter.
