<p>Dude have you visited Houston yet? Coming from Ithaca, NY to Houston, TX may be a weather shock for you. Then again, I plan on possibly going from Houston, TX to Ithaca, NY, but it's hot as hell down here...for most of the year. Either way, you can't go wrong with Rice. The residential system is amazing. Enjoy!</p>

<p>are you able to get on campus housing?</p>

<p>Transfers usually have the last pick on housing, but just for their first transfer year of course. But two transfers who came in last year ended up getting on-campus housing somehow. So I don't think it's as hard as it seems.</p>

<p>I was thinking of Cornell ED but I was wondering what made you decide to transfer to Rice? I am most likely going to be a bio related major as a premed for an md/phd program.</p>
