I want to pursue science after my class 12. But I am currently in the middle of JEE preparation. I also want to apply for Universities abroad. Are the undergraduate courses for sciences in IITs comparable with that of MIT, Harvard? Should I pick IIT over MIT/Harvard?
Ok, getting into either MIT or Harvard is EXTREMELY difficult. Of course, so is getting into an IIT. Before you worry about making a choice between these very remote chances…you need to get it. So do your JEE, get your rank, see if you get into IIT. If you do - take it. The cost alone makes it worthwhile to stay in India for undergrad.
It’s seldom a matter of choosing ITT over MIT/Harvard.
It’s about hoping and praying that they choose you.
