<p>You can invite your teachers whenever you want to invite them. And it is o.k. if they submit teacher recommendation before your app is done.</p>
<p>Common App colleges will only receive your recommendations <em>after</em> you submit your Common App Online to them. The Common App Online system holds them until you’ve submitted your app online. I would recommend inviting your teachers as soon as possible to allow them the maximum amount of time to write your recs.</p>
