Can someone help to indicate where I can find opportunities. Such as useful website ...

In terms of website, check craigslist, your school (will be best), cold call smaller shops not just IB, but also in several relevant fields[ that will set you up for IB SA spots next year.

So most of the bulge bracket firms have sophomore rotational intern programs…where you spend 3-4 weeks in IBd, 3-4 weeks in S&T, 3-4 weeks in equity research, etc…

Go through your school’s career services if the BB firms recruit on campus, also apply directly to the banks and try to find your way in via connections.

Try to cold call small local banks and offer to intern for them for free…that will boost your resume significantly to land a good job after junior year…

yeah but those usually target URMs

cold e-mailing/calling is the way to go for sophomores

When a firm says on the website, “only for penultimate students”, is it still worth it for sophomores to give it a try and apply?

yeah. unless you are an URM…
I learned that the hard way last year.
