I am super nervous!! :(

I took a practice SAT and lets just say I got around 1,300. I am a smart kid but I struggle with math and I have a 3.8 GPA. This test just stresses me out and how can a kid get a freakin 2000 with a drop of a hat ugh.
If anyone can give me some encouragement or advice I would love it. Thanks!!!

I am trying everything
*tutor
*blue book
*online research and practice questions

I have big dreams and goals and I don't want one dumb test to affect my chances into getting into a decent college. I have plenty of time till oct 6 (I plan to retake it anyway)

*effect :P

I believe it’s affect.

What are you weakest points? Try to improve on those (either math, English, or writing skills). SAT sample questions online? SAT review online?

Paying attention and learning in school are also important. Maybe try the ACT?

Good night sleep prior to test, stop stressing, don’t panic?

Thanks your right lol it’s really hard because of the time constraints in the test. Hmmmmm I’m going to try the act. I am a strong reader my essay is good but the sentence correction is bad.

Unfortunately, the trick is knowing how to take the SAT (e.g. strategies to minimize reading time, knowing which grammar rules or math formulas/theorems appear most). Presuming you know grammar, some vocab, and some algebra/geo/probability/number theory you should be set for a 2000+.

Taking a 5 hour energy might help as well… No jitters or anything and it eliminates tiredness. Took one for the apush exam and SAT. In the 5th hour after the APUSH exam I still had the energy to go out and dunk water bottles during 5th period (ah, if only I could palm a ball well!).

Thanks…and those five hour energies don’t really work for me but I’ll try.

Hey just don’t give up
