I am very unstable in sentence completion sections

One practice test I pull a 16-3. The other I hardly manage to pull a 10-9.

This is hurting my CR score badly. I can pull off a 700+ in writing and maths VERY EASILY(maximum amount of questions I get wrong in the whole test so far is 5), yet I can either bomb or own the critical reading section.

I am not that bad with reading passages, and since I am aiming for a 650-700 score, I gave myself allowance to get 9-14 questions wrong in 1 practice test.

If I own the SC section, I can easily get a 670-680 CR score.

If I bomb it, it goes down to 610-600, sometimes even 590s.

I have only finished Direct Hits I, and learned 100 more words through the use of flashcards.

I have no idea what to do to ace through the SC section. I sometimes get lucky and guess words right; but sometimes the words are so unfamiliar with me that I just fail it.

What can I do? I have only 2 days left till the SAT. Just hope that the words I know of appear on the official SAT? What else can I do?

PS: I got 16-3 from the official 12-13 practice test which is available on collegeboard's website. Yet I sometimes bomb past official tests.

I suggest that you not only memorize definitions, but you take a look at some sentences.
Seeing the words in action definitely helped with me.
