{y las escuelas}

[Publics] --> UCLA, UCB, UCSD, UCSD
[Privates] --> NYU (Stern), Stanford

...evaluations should be in % chance of acceptance please

13.7% at all
If you want % of acceptances go to Collegeboard.com, We cannot give you evaluations in %'s..

ok, fine...back to the safety/safe match/match/reach/etc. method

bump diez char

You should be in at all of the UC's. However, Stanford maybe a reach (Don't fret, it's for everyone!)

bump it up

My SATII scores are now:

Math IIC - 710 (will retake next week)
Spanish w/ listening - 610 (will take w/o listening next week and hope to get at least 650)

UCLA: dunno
UCB: reach
UCSD: dunno
NYU (Stern): rejected
Stanford: rejected

Sorry, your stats are not good enough for Stern or Stanford.

anyone else?

You have a 3.1415926% chance of getting in.

UCLA: 35% chance
UCB: 35% chance
UCSD: In
NYU: Rejected
Stanford: Rejected

The only thing bringing you down is your SAT/SATII.

well, hopefully math will be 750+ and Spanish will be 650ish, so...

possible in at NYU, probably reject at Stanford

I agree with Castel, except UCSD is a safe match so that's like 90%.

UCLA and UCB are weak matches (50%).

i haven't made much progress on the stanford app, should I just stop and focus on the NYU app once my UC app is submitted?

any more input?

do my chances hinge on this last sat test date?

any other opinions?

beuhler, beuhler

ucla- match
ucb- match
ucsd- safety
nyu- low reach
stanford- high reach

Add some schools to your list if you want a better shot at gaining acceptance into a highly ranked school-if that is your goal. ucla/ucb are unpredictable.

best of luck

I've decided on just the following

1: UCB or NYU (Stern)

2: UCLA

3: UCSD or UCD

anybody have any other thoughts?
