My November SAT score is ''not yet available'' .The CB site says that I need to check my score on 11th Dec.This really hinders my ED ambitions.Who the hell CB think they are ?A bunch of morons that controls the world? How can this happen ?After year and a half of preparation ,and more than 750$ spent on my SAT campaign ,my score ''is not yet available'' ?I would understand if this happened in June,it would be unpleasant but still it wouldnt have prevented me from accomplishing my plans..I doubled check everything when I was filling in the formalities on the booklet.Everything was right.I even told the proctor to check-in over and over again because I didnt want anything to go wrong. Is it possible to take legal actions? I mean,we have plenty of responsibilities when comes to the test day - bring ID,bring admission ticket,do not use calculator on that section,do not share questions,do no do this ,do not do that, and if we violate the rules we will have our scores canceled. However,CB doesnt have any obligations and they are free to **** up our life without caring about anything ?

I lol at this. But seriously, I have no idea why that’s happening…

That happend to some kids at my school for the October sat with their sat scores for early decision. They called cb screaming and got little acomplished. Then our guidence conselur called and they got their scores that afternoon after explaining the situation

I cannot stress enough how frustrated I am.I felt soo exhilarated after leaving the test center. After 18 months of preparation ,I knew I was over.I scored 1930 in June and now I am sure I broke 2150.Everything went so perfect.Except for the last CR passage and 2 WR questions,I hardly found any challenging question.Yesterday,I logged-in my account, expecting to see sth like CR-650,WR-700-750,M 750-800 and …‘not yet available’’ …x

If you ever bother to open your eyes and read their website carefully, it states that some scores maybe delayed. Yours turned out to be among the “some”. Take a chill. How does this impede your ED ambitions? You couldn’t take the December test now anyway because its too late. You can take the January one, but its too late for any admissions. If you wanted to make sure that scores get there for ED maybe you should have taken it earlier (just another view of the world for you )

Stuff happens. The world does not revolve around you. Sorry.

Overachiever…I feel you man. Same sh** is happening to me.

Did you take the reasoning test? Because if your score improves by more than 500 points, they will hold your score.

If not, I feel you and F collegeboard.

call and ask for your score. its only 12 bucks haha

I took the Reasoning test.Well,500 points not ,but I think I have improved with about 150-200

First of all, I don’t see how this has anything to do with your Early Decision status. I’d be surprised if whatever college you’re applyling to was like, “your scores didn’t come out on the regular day? Oooo… sorry looks like you’re no longer eligible for early decision”

You realize that they make many decisions per day right? So it’s not like they need your scores weeks (or even one week) in advanced, and who knows, maybe they wouldn’t have started reading your application before your scores come out anyway? I don’t really know, but contact the college and I doubt they’ll say “sorry, you’re screwed.”

Secondly, people need to really calm down about this whole “F collegeboard” thing. It’s pathetic. “it’s the establishment, man. they’re out to get us, man”

If it weren’t for them, we wouldn’t have AP classes. Or the SAT and subject tests. And you know what that means? It would make it WAAAY harder for colleges to make decisions because of how different high schools accross the country are. How does an A is Biology in Nebraska differ from an A is biology is New York? What about the difficulty of honors classes? Now, how does a 750 SAT Bio or a 5 AP Bio differ between states? It doesn’t!! This makes the college decisions process much easier to some degree.

Also, you couldn’t get AP credit from colleges. Personally, Im going to exempt a whole lot of classes when I go to college, and I’d imagine that others are doing the same.

So thank you collegeboard. Thank you for providing me a way of distinguishing myself and an opportunity to take higher level courses, then demonstrate my knowledge of them (and earn college credit in the process).
