I can't decide help

Hi I’m having so much trouble deciding on a college to pick. I got into all the UC’s I applied to which were all other than Merced and Berkeley and I also got into USC, and I’m waiting on Brown (but I highly doubt I got in so I’m gonna start asking now.) Btw, I’m a Bio major with hopes of getting into med school. Anyway I’ve narrowed it down to UCLA, UCI, USC, UCSB,and UC Davis and in particular are look at the latter two

UCLA: It’s literally been my dream school since forever, but now that I got in I don’t know if I can handle the competition because I know for a fact grad schools care much more about gpa than the prestige of the school you go to. Also they gave me no form of scholarship or honors.

UCI: I’ve always wanted to go to socal for school because I’m from bay area and I kind of want a change in scenery. It’s less competitive than UCLA, and I got into the honors program. However, I didn’t get regents, and my parents don’t want me to go because they are weary of the fact the campus is notoriously known for being very asian and they think it’s kind of far (I’m asian btw hahaha)

USC: It’s a private so do you think that they’ll put more emphasis on my education because I’m paying more? Also the biggest downside is it’s incredibly expensive and they gave me no form of aid. Also i got admitted for the spring semester and I don’t know how badly I wanna go to USC. I hear the area is dangerous too.

UCSB: One of my top considerations. It’s currently ranked number 3 out of all the UC’s, but really i think all the mid tier uc’s are roughly the same. I got regents/honors and the area is really pretty. However, I don’t know if the area is more of a vacation paradise than some place I’d like to live in for four years. Also, i don’t know how distracting the partying and activities will be.

UC Davis: My other top consideration. I got regents/honors and i hear the bio program is really good. However, i’d like some insights and anyone who could compare all the uc bio programs with one another. I hear the place is boring and people call it cow town, but if anyone could tell me about this that’d be great. Also, a lot of my friends are going down south.

Some background on me:
I come from a competitive Bay area high school.
GPA: UW 3.98 W 4.29
ACT: 35
SAT II Chem: 800
EC: Piano for 11 years (I take annual tests), saxophone for 7 years (used to be in a band), Martial arts for 10 years, Student leadership, Volunteer at local hospital
Essays: I thought they were pretty decent ngl
I’m generally a really studious person, but I’m not one of those people who can read something once and get it. All of my success has been from hard work, which is why I need an environment to continue my discipline in college.

Haha sorry i sound so serious and nerdy in this but I swear I’m fun in person.

I know I might sound unsolicited, but I would say consider UCSD because they are really great in STEM. Recall, they have an affiliated lab which is one of the biggest and most famous in the country. I know two people from bio major - one went to UCSD and the other UCSB. They both got in med school (according to them, it’s been 3 months since I last kept in touch with them). The one that went to UCSB tells me she sort of regrets going there because there were less internship opportunities for STEM due to the whole college town small area.

From your other choices, I would say go to UCLA because of the prestige and the opportunities that the school can give you.

I only know UCD to be good in environmental sciences, not sure about bio. Also, most people told me it smells like cow poop most of the time, so I’m not sure about recommending that one.

UCSD has great Biology programs and a not so good record of their getting into med school so they’ve been investigating what’s going on.
UCSB would be a good medium - quality/prestige +honors/regents perks. See if they offer quiet dorms or substance free dorms.

You look like a very competitive student so don’t be scared of UCLA. Follow your dream!
My daughter was in a similar situation 3 years ago and followed her dream (and it has been working well for her)!

Go for the dream!

UCD has very good bio related stuff. People call it cow town because there are really cows around/on campus. The environment is very good because it is separated from cities. Sacramento is very close by too. UCSB has nice views if you are into it. Also, it is known for its parties such as Deltopia. If you are into the prestige, UCLA is the place to go. You should take some admitted student tours if you can.
