For me it is between UCLA, BC, and University of Miami. Money plays a big factor into where I want to go, and in that respect I got the most from Miami and the least from BC. Another thing to factor in is that I have a lot of family in Boston and am fairly familiar with the city for being a Colorado boy. BC is probably the front runner if financials didn’t have any role in the whole process, but I do have some fears. Being a liberal, not very religious, kid from sunny Colorado I do worry about fitting in, especially with the weather. Any help would be great…thank you.

There are many different things involved such as your expected major and the disparity in financial aid. As for fitting in, there really isn't much too it. there are about 9000 students on campus and you are bound to find students with similar interests, either political or religious. I can tell you that I'm a fairly liberal atheist/agnostic person and I fit in just fine. The whether is harsh in the winter even for a person from NYC, but it is tolerable. The summers are brutal with the amount of humidity in the atmosphere, but we've been getting gorgeous weather for the past week or so.

You'll probably fit in the most at UCLA; it's away from home, but not "southern" like Miami, nor preppier, like BC. And the school is so huge that there's a niche for you pretty much immediately (I know about 6 kids headed to UCLA who sound exactly like you lol).

if not UCLA, I'd choose BC, because it's another great school. UMiami probably isn't quite as good enough of a school for the OOS tuition, IMO

Boston College for 50k or Providence College Honors w/ half tuition scholarship

Major-bio and hopefully med school later on.

^ Can you clarify your situation? Is BC giving your 50k or charging you 50k?

my bad, charging
