I can't figure out why my Cal Grant hasn't paid..

<p>I don't have any holds. I am registered full time. I am not missing any documentation for MyFinAid. My Pell and Undergraduate Grants have paid. I have been awarded Cal Grant B and it has been accepted on MyFinAid, but it hasn't paid.</p>

<p>If anyone knows what might be going on, help would be appreciated.</p>

<p>Oooooh … we had this happen in Michigan last year, with our (broken)Promise Scholarships. Schools debated putting the awards on in advance of actually receiving the funding (typically the funding lags behind posting awards here). Some did, some did not. Those that did told students that if the funding did not go through, the student would be responsible for the money that never materialized. When all was said & done, the money never did get approved & schools scrambled to figure out how to handle the situation. Some covered the money with institutional funding, other schools didn’t have the funding to do that & students were stuck with a larger bill second semester as a result of having to pay what they were fronted for the scholarship that never came.</p>
