Wow! CashM I live in Westlake, too....this is weird, and crazy, too...I went to Ignatius and now attend Harvard. I did see your article in the paper, and from what I remember it was a group photo of underepresented minority overachievers (haaha) in which no persons face could be made out...I thought you meant you were featured, individually. Anyway, I think you are correct in listing each school as a reach, major reach, safety, etc. Be sure you are applying to the school not because of its reputation, but b/c it has a good pre-med/bme program...from what i know, Harvard has a decent (but not exceptional med program) U of M has a great med program from what I've heard, in fact, some students at Harvard weren't accepted at U of M. Do you know Cheng Gao? He graduated from WHS and is my roomate @ Harvard. Good Luck...make sure to look into U of M more closely...you'd be surprised

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH YOU KNOW CHENG???????

HAHAHAHAHA dude of course i know cheng.

yeah i like your description of that photo. haha.

p.s. cheng's sister su told me that cheng believes his roommate to be the smartest person ever (that would be you!)

hey this is yak--problems with the old name...anyway Cheng mentioned you, too. He was always ranting and raving abt some smart scott kid from his HS in the same grade as his sister. I didn't know you were that insanely smart, dude, go to harvard w/ us.

anyway, back to the stats...

bump please

wow, this thread is still alive. yak, how many kids do u know from pakistan that are named scott? osama bin laden is a more common name than scott over there

if you are sure abt penn apply ED. you are a solid ED candidate.

You'll look good at Penn. It is easier to get in for liberal arts than it would be to Wharton. The internship opportunity is nice and lends some weight to your extracurriculars. You've got a lot of schools on this list and it'll get really expesive to apply to all of them. Perhaps you could reevaluate some of your reach schools (not that you don't stand a good chance, but your list is very much weighted toward that side) for what you really want in schools. HahaZ, and if you're lazy your senior year, doing all of those apps will take up a lot of time.

bumpity bump bump bump.....
