Okay good, you're here. Now please answer this if you can.

Is it possible to submit two teacher recommendations on the online common app if a college only asks for one? Because I have two teacher recommendations and I really want to submit both of them, but it doesn't seem possible for some of the colleges. Perhaps I'm missing something obvious, but help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Here, I'll confirm it for you.
I ended up getting 3 teacher recommendations (just because of the subject requirements, and I didn't want one of those teachers to be sent off to ALL the universities). And yes some of the universities I'm applying to only really require one.
I've emailed CommonApp about it too, and they replied back saying that there is no way you can submit extras online, you'll have to MAIL THEM to the universities instead.

Do I detect a little snippiness, B852? But really, thanks for your response. I had considered the thought of mailing them, only both teachers have already submitted them online and they are both teachers from a school I no longer attend that is about 300 miles away from where I am, so mailing could be a tad difficult. Oh well.

Haha no not at all. Sorry if it came off like that...
Not sure how much this could actually work but you could ask them to fax them to you and mail it yourself. Or just email the school (if both teachers still work there) and get them to email both out together ... it really wouldn't be a good idea to mail them out separately.
