<p>So, I got excited and accept Stanford's offer but now, I've got a really exciting job coming up and I want to defer enrollment....!!</p>
<p>I know this was really stupid considering its only April 8th but please help me. Do you think this is possible? After all, they accepted me so they probably still want me to go to Stanford right?</p>

<p>^You really should try to go to admit weekend and talk to an admissions counselor or anyone in the admission office. I haven’t heard much about people deferring enrollment at Stanford, because not that many people get into Stanford anyways.</p>
<p>Last year, I deferred about 10-20 days before the start of the academic term. That said, move quickly (ie call today); deferment-after-enrollment is not guaranteed in the absence of a compelling reason.</p>
