My email says that I didn't pass it and now I need to take WR-39AP this year. Is this the only quarter long writing class I need to take my freshman year, or do I need to take another one (the one I would have taken if I did pass the AWPE)?

Also, do you know what WR-39AP is like? Are you going to take it?

Thank you :)

Here are the lower division writing requirements for EVERYONE:

Writing 39A or equivalent, Writing 39b or equivalent, Writing 39C or equivalent (Writ 30 or 31).

For your case, you will need to take Writing 39AP fall quarter, and then you will move on to writing 39A for the winter, 39b for the spring, and then 39c or equivalents, make sure you finish this before the end of your sophomore year.

i thought only the ppl didn’t pass the AWPE have to take 39A and regular ppl start with 39B?
wut’s 39AP?!

I think it depends on by how much you fail to pass the AWPE test. If you don’t do too well, you will take AP. If you did fairly well but not enough to pass, I think you take 39A.

Not too sure though. My roommate had to take 39AP and he didn’t pass the AWPE.
