Can u take HumCore without taking Writing 39A

I just failed the AWPE and am going to be put in the writing 39A class. In the past years i've heard that if u take HumCore you wont need to take the writing 39A class, since HumCore is a yearly class. I'm not sure about this year though. Can someone clarify this for me? Thanks

i think you can only take HumCore unless you qualify for Writing 39B. someone correct me if i’m wrong though.

p.s. you didn’t fail i know a lot of people who had to take 39A

Do you recommend taking the online summer class for writing 39A?

Try logging in here[/url">http://www.testingcenter.uci.edu/onlineregistration.htm"]here and clicking “Writing 39a.” It should then give you your options.

login to your account

http://www.reg.uci.edu/</a></p>

click on “student access” and then “student profile” and then under “test results” it will show you the classes that you can take

@CRAZYHOBO. how can you directly go to 39A if you failed the ASWP. dont you have to take the Academic English Placement test. and from there if you pass you can move on to 39A or if you didn’t you have to humanity 20A-B-C OR HUMANITY 22.
