After looking at a few universities' requirements, most of them say US History was required or strongly recommended. However, I moved to my current high school in my junior year where US History (or AP US History) is not an offered class (it was offered only on the 9th grade campus, which is separate from the senior high). Will this be a problem with admissions? If it makes a difference, I'm specifically looking to apply to University of Michigan, Michigan Tech, University of Washington, UC Berkeley, and NYU Poly.

Is US history not a graduation requirement for your HS?

It is, but since I moved to my school in my sophomore year (i said junior year above, I meant sophomore), my school made an exception and said that taking psychology for a year is acceptable to replace a social studies credit.

yes, this is a problem. Your school should have had you take it as a sophomore. However, this might be minimized if you GC mentions your waiver from your school on your rec.
