<p>Muse is one of my favorite bands…you may hate them, because of the 2-3 songs you’ve heard being overplayed since the Twilight craze. Some of their old music is really quite good…I like to classify them in a group with the Kings of Leon (another one of my favorite bands). They have had a couple songs that have made them seem mainstream, when in reality, 90% of their songs have never been heard by most of the people who “love” them.</p>
<p>I tried to listen to their older stuff first. And never seemed to like it either. I do love Kings of Leon and they seem more like “classic rock” than anything similar to Muse.</p>

<p>I don’t really like alternative, except for Porcupine Tree. Still, even PT isn’t really alternative, but the influence is there.</p>
<p>I rather like Muse. It’s a pretty cool sound and all. Flogging Molly anyone?</p>
<p>Muse is okay, but I prefer their old stuff. A lot of their new music sounds the same and seems like it’s following some kind of formula. But that’s just me. On a side note, Radiohead’s pretty good.</p>

<p>I don’t mean that Muse and KOL are in the same genre :P, I have a group of bands that are classified as mainstream music, because a few of their songs are disgustingly overplayed. KOL and Muse fall into this category.</p>
