I dislike Muse.

It seems like everyone I know loves Muse. But, for me, I really dislike them. They seem so over-rated, and singing things that have been overdone. And I'm really annoyed by the lead singers voice. I always hear them on the radio, and see their video's on MTV Hits all the time. They aren't as great as their made out to be.

I only know one song by them…well 2 =/

I don’t like them much either.

Is it bad that I’ve never heard of them?

Nah, I doubt most of America has ever heard of them either.

^^No, your in fact lucky. Their all over Twilight, and and MTV.

^ But I think that most Americans know of their music. I think they’re similar to Train in that you probably know their music, but don’t know their name/don’t associate it with their songs.

I dislike nearly all mainstream bands.

Kind of…

There’s nothing wrong with mainstream, just because the band is popular doesn’t mean you can’t like them or go out of your way to hate them. With that said, I don’t listen to much music. I’m a sports radio junkie, lol.

by the way, i just listened to supermassive black hole, it’s a decent song but I could certainly see how you would find it annoying.

Matt Bellamy (lead singer) can hit really high notes, and for the most part, his voice doesn’t bother me. The music itself isn’t bad either. However, I’d really like Muse if it weren’t for the lyrics…I don’t like their writing style.

I don’t really like them recorded, but I saw them open for U2 a couple months ago and their style is MUCH better live.

I really dislike you…

Aw, that’s not nice. ^

@Toxic93 - That’s where I first heard of them; on the Twilight soundtrack. Until I saw the music video to “Uprising”, that’s the only two songs I heard from them…Well, that and a remake of Michael Buble’s “Feeling Good”, of which I felt was okay if you like the jazz to alternative cross overs.

Muse predates Twilight by 11 years. They weren’t really mainstream at all in America until Twilight started inexplicably endorsing them.

To the OP
Get out, just get out

^Its my right to voice my opinion.

I do think that their older stuff is better than their newer stuff, and I wish they hadn’t agreed to be on the twilight soundtrack, but the only reason that they did that was to become more known in the US

I prefer Crash Kings or the Guillemots to tell you the truth =/

Yeah, I dislike Muse as well. Their lead singer has a nice voice and all, and he has much more talent than all those other famous “artists,” but their music just really isn’t for me.
