Hey guys, so I am a junior from Virginia (northern va). By the end of junior year I would have taken 6 Ap's (2 soph and 4 junior year)...my problem is that I do considerably better in my AP's classes (I have had 4 A's.1 B+ and a B) than my honors (mostly A's but some B+s and Bs)..plus i have shown good improvement over the years ( 3.7 W GPA fresh, 4.2 Soph, and a 4.5 Junior)

so i was wondering, when Georgetown looks at my transcript would this come off as a good or bad thing? how bout my course rigor..do you guys think 6 Ap's would place me in a competitive league?

It doesn’t look like there’s a considerable difference between the grades… And I don’t think the 6 AP’s are the thing you want to put you in a competitive league, but passion for sports or extracurriculars that you’ve put time and effort into.

How many AP classes does your school offer overall?

I cant exactly tell how many but i know that i have taken all the ap’s that i could have taken
but i am guessing around 15

btw i won sci fair 1st placr in the skool for the last 2 years and have gotten 3rd in disrticts…plus i have a internship with nasa and am part of a medial research… Do u think this would place me in a good place?

I really don’t have a lot of experience with chancing people for the school… I guess it would depend on which college you’re applying for, scores, leadership positions (something they really like), and letters of rec? But it sounds like you’re definitely on a good start.
