I do not know what to do. Please help me!!

I just applied to transfer to Texas a&m petroleum engineering and got denied. I am still waiting on my second choice major which is computer engineering. However, I just want to stick with petroleum and I do not know what to do since I got denied. I have a few options and I don’t know which would be the best way for me.

  1. transferring to UH for petroleum engineering
  2. transferring to TAMU for computer engineering ( if admitted) then transfer internally to petroleum
  3. stay 1 more semester at the community college.
My stats are: GPA 3.81 , but when I received the transfer audit, it dropped down to 3.7
    Comp1 :B comp 2 : A
    Chem 1 and 2 :A
University of physics1:A and currently taking physics 2:( will definitely get an A)
Cal 1,2 :A and currently taking cal 3: ( will also finish with an A)
    Tech writing: A
    Precal: C… Retake :A

Should I stay one more semester at the community?

Right now due to the energy industry’s economy I’m sure A&M is restricting the number of students in the PETE program. You may have to have better stats or energy experience to get admitted now. Take the computer engineering path and be happy.
