<p>My housing assignment just came back... got assigned to Dickinson. I heard its the worst community in Bing. I don't get it, I put Dickinson last on my preference. Is Dickinson that bad? How can I request transfer if possible? PLEASE HELP!!</p>
<p>I understand... that happened to a lot of people... they put Dickinson last and got it... its supposedly the worst but it's close to the others... so hopefully you can go to a friends dorm and stay sometimes.</p>
<p>if people move into dickinson believing it is a horrible place to live and trying to spend as little time there as possible, they will in fact create exactly what it is they fear - a horrible place to live.
people make a dorm either good or bad.</p>
<p>my god people, calm down, first of all im going to be a sophmore living in dickinson this fall and it isnt as bad as it sounds. YOU can make it a good or a bad experience depending on how u make of it. i found dikinson to be fun. there are many things u can do, just because its not fancy and its the oldest dorm, it doesnt mean its the worst place. trust me, ive heard people complain about the other dorms on campus saying some of them are lonely and even a bit secluded. dikinson is actually refered to as a "family". that how close of a community we are.</p>
