I don't know if I will like the school I'm going to.

Sorry about posting another thread, but this is a completely different subject than the last one.

So I'm going to a school where more than half of the people there chose to go there for one thing: skiing.

It's basically a bunch of ski bums who happen to be smart and want to ski while they get their engineering degrees.

Welll I mean, I ski.... but I'm not totally obsessed with it.

I'm just scared I'll have trouble fitting in.

Which sounds silly to say and in the back of my mind I almost know that I won't have trouble at all...

But I also know that how well the campus and school fits with your personality is a BIG part of how much you ejoy it.

I also am not sure its the school I want to stay at for four years. But I don't know what to do about that. I guess just stick it out all of freshman year and then hopefully figure it out along the way? But what if I HATE it?

Go in with the attitude that things will go well and you will love it. However, if it doesn’t work out and you find that you’re not happy at the school, then transfer. Kids do it all of the time. My advice is to earn a strong gpa and get to know your professors well during your first year. With a strong gpa and good professor recommendations, you’ll have more options during the transfer process if you decide that you want to transfer at a later date.
