I don't know where to apply to college and it's giving me an ulcer?

I am getting really stressed because my guidance counselor needs my applications by thanksgiving and not only am I not done with the common app, I don't even know where to apply. I live in NY and the SUNYs that I am probably going to apply to are Geneseo, New Paltz, and Oneonta. Ok I'm not going to tell you my life story but here are my stats:

GPA: 89
SAT: CR- 730, math- 570, writing- 760 (2060 total)
ACT: 28 (23 math, 26 science, 30 reading, 33 english, 10 writing)
pretty average ECs: cross country, school band, ultimate frisbee, environmental club, piano lessons
A few APs (4 on eng. lang.) and other college classes. I also took SAT lit. and am awaiting results but it will prolly be 600s.

First of all, do you think I will get into Geneseo? (My GPA and math SAT score make me want to take eye drops of acid)
I also want to apply to some non SUNYs but that is where the ulcer part comes in because there are just so many schools and I don't know where to apply. I'm looking for smallish schools, not too far, that are kind of low tier because the only way I can go to them is if they offer good financial aid (scholorships/merit aid).

I love Ithaca but it is way too expensive so should I even bother applying? What about Bentley, Siena, and Allegheny? I also like schools with perhaps good English and music departments, but a lot of options because I have no idea what to do with my life.

Any suggestions on schools? I also love the Boston area and there are so many colleges there... any that fit my needs?

See a doctor if you’re getting ulcers.

Geneseo: Low match
New Paltz: Safety
Oneonta: Safety
Ithaca: Low match
Bentley: Safety
Allegheny: Safety
Siena: Safety

haha yeah thanks.

You’re fine at all these schools.

To know if a school will be expensive for you, dont look at the sticker price: look at the Net Price Calculator on each website - since each school calculates differently you may be pleasantly surprised for some expensive schools.

Geneseo is a match for you.

Other schools you could look into (and run the NPC’s for each before you decide to explore it further) where you could get into (= reach, all others are matches and safeties - to decrease these ulcers  )
College of Wooster
Goucher
Hamilton
Kenyon*
Muhlenberg
Trinity College*
Oberlin*
Bard*
Sarah Lawrence
University of Rochester*
Clark
Wheaton (MA)
Hiram
Hampshire

A little further away, you may want to consider
Earlham
Lawrence University
St Olaf College
Albion

So now you have match schools galore: go explore, run the NPCs, include them into your Common App (you’re allowed a maximum of 20). And relax.

Sorry, I forgot to reply sooner but thank you everyone
