I don't like my boarding school and want to transfer to a new one next year- help?

<p>Has anyone had experience with this? I go to a HADES school, and I think I only decided to come here because I felt obligated to based on the prestige of the school. I really think I would fit in better at Exeter, or possibly a non-HADES school like Choate.</p>

<p>I don't think kids typically leave this school is the thing, most people LOVE it here. I just don't fit in with the people; I do not see the diversity this school claims to have at all. </p>

<p>Has anyone switched boarding schools? If so, how'd you approach your teachers?</p>

<p>my friend switched boarding schools last year. it just wasnt right for her. she explained that to her teachers and they were fine with it. it didnt seem awkward at all because she explained how much she would like it better at the other school</p>
