So I just took a math 2 practice test from Barron's and Kaplan. I got a 620 on Barron's and a 800 on Kaplan.. Is this norma and which one is more accurate for the real thing?

Edit: normal*

Yep somewhat.
But I think you have to take more tests to get a better assessment

Thanks

Barron’s tests are pretty hard. Don’t count on a guaranteed score boost though. I would recommend studying Barron’s and Dr. Chung’s very well, but not being discouraged based on their practice test results. I often practiced with Dr. Chung’s practice tests and almost never got 800s. Yet on the real SAT II Math 2 administration, I finished in 40 minutes and managed to get an 800.

TL;DR: It’s great practice, but horrible encouragement.

Got it, thanks!

Just took another Kaplan and got an 800…how accurate is Kaplan? Seems way too easy/plug and chug…

Kaplan is accurate. It is actually a little harder than the actual exam.
