<p>So, I looked at the ACES thing and I think that I have an air conditioned room. I am very tight for money and having an air-conditioned room costs more than a non a/c. Does anyone know if there is any way to get that changed? I know it can get hot in NC, but I am willing to suffer for 900 dollars less.</p>
<p>I don't blame you- it's not that hot in NC. Exactly how did you figure out what kind of room you have (e.g. how much does AC cost)? I don't know if it's possible to get it changed, though, especially if one's in FOCUS.</p>
<p>My friend bugged them last year about it and got changed to a non-AC room before freshman year.</p>
<p>I'm in FOCUS so I can't swap in to a non-AC room......</p>
<p>And I'm paying extra money for it....<em>sigh</em></p>
<p>Well hey, if anyone doesn't want their AC room, I'll def. trade because I have non AC. I'll have to talk to my roommate, but I'm pretty sure she'd be OK with it.</p>
<p>I have a non-AC room, which is perfectly fine with me. I wish I had my room assignment, though.</p>
<p>I don't want my A/C room either....apparently they're supposed to be small. =/ I was looking forward to having a fan...:p</p>
