I downloaded from some website that had offical sats like Jan 2015 sat to download. I did it but now I’m pretty scared I already deleted them but I’m not sure if that’s enough. Can there be any repercussions or anything?

Why are downloading official SATs punishable? Is it a copyright issue?
Honestly, there’s little to no chance that you’ll be punished. It’s pretty much the same as downloading music illegally, not saying you should do it though.
I downloaded some of the the official new sats but it said they were from the new bluebook which I didn’t buy, they also had the jan 2015 test which looked like the real test I didn’t download that one but seeing it kind of made me wary, I already downloaded some of the new sats but I deleted them now but I’m still kind of scared.
Hopefully this will give you some relief, the site you’re talking about most likely starts with crack(am I right?) and many of the people preparing for the sat on here have used it and I haven’t heard of any of them receiving punishment.
I think its perfectly legal to download the 4 new SAT tests. They’re available on the Khan Academy site.
I looked it up and apparently it is legal cause they reused the same test from Khan academy. What seems illegal to me is that they just printed the sats and sold them in the new bluebook. But alas I can sleep at night.
^Why should it be illegal for a publisher to post their property online for free and also offer it for sale in hard copy? If it were illegal, the publisher would not offer it online and many who prefer the online version would not have access.
I didn’t mean it seriously but I feel like some people might have bought the book without knowing it was free. you could say it’s their fault for not keeping up with collegeboard and I would agree but it’s still kinda of a bummer for those who did buy it and not know.
