I failed a non major class! What should I do?

I took Anatomy 10 at my community college as a filler because all the classes I wanted were taken but I failed it 2 times. My major is now psychology but do I retake the class again or leave it? PS I want to get into UCR in the spring! I also took a Trig class only to find out that I don't need it because my major is psych not bio! I failed that too! SO DO I TAKE THESE CLASSES AGAIN?!

If you have not heard of assist, then here is the link to it. It will let you know what classes you need to take.
<a href=“Welcome to ASSIST”>Welcome to ASSIST;

You will have to retake Anatomy 10 since that is a UC transferable class, which if not retaken, will bring down your GPA and hurt your chances at being admitted to UCR. The trigonometry class is a little more complicated. I need to know if you have taken any other math classes.

I agree with @CollegeDropout1 use assist.org so you can know exactly what pre-reqs you need for the campus and major of your choice.

When did you apply to UCR that you could go for this upcoming Spring? Or do you mean Spring 2015?

Well, I would highly recommend that you take Anatomy 10 again because it a UC transferable course and it will drag your GPA down and hurt your chances of getting into the school of your choosing.

I’m not sure what grade you got in your Trig course but if you also failed it I would, once again, highly recommend that you re-take it.

Best of luck.

I meant Fall of 2015 to go to UCR, yes I have heard of assist.org and for UCR math 12 (Statistics) is needed and I have already take Math 110 (College Algebra) at Cal State San Bernardino

Like I said before, you are going to have to retake Anatomy 10 no matter what, if you want to improve your chances of getting into UCR. While you DON’T have to retake trigonometry, I would strongly recommend doing so. If you don’t pass that class, then you are going to have to take Business Calculus since one of your major’s requirements is a precalculus course or some form of a calculus, whether that be Business or regular calculus. College level math is not going to get any easier than trigonometry, so retaking it will be your best chance at fulfilling the math requirement. Also, you are going to have to do a better job at researching. You said that you heard of assist, but did you even bother to look up the requirements for your major? I say this not to be mean, but it would have saved you a lot of time since it clearly states that you can use a Trig and College Algebra class to fulfill the math requirement

An Alternative Way to Meet Math 5 Articulation: Students who complete a UC
transferable College Algebra course and a college course in Trigonometry (both
with “C” grades or better) will be considered to have an acceptable course
substitution to UCR’s Math 5. Trigonometry courses do not carry UC transfer
credit, but when taken in conjunction with College Algebra can be used to
sufficiently cover content in Math 5.
