I got a 2 on the AP Calculus AB Exam T_T.... am I still supposed to send it to UCR?

Did you put UCR down to receive it when you took the exam? It could already have been sent. If not, it’s going to cost money to send it, in which case you might want to give UCR a call to see if they expect it. They might if you said you were going to take in on your application.

Did you take and pass any other AP exams? If so and you sent them, The AP calc went with them if you didn’t stop it.

What if I have A’s in both semesters but failed my AP test? does having an A in both semesters count?

You should always ask the school such questions. In order to do that you need to send all your records. Making all the information available to UCR is not going to hurt anything. Being straight up is best.

That said, this is my understanding of things:

The AP grade in high school will improve your HS GPA.
But the AP test score alone determines credit in terms of units toward UCR graduation and satisfaction of prerequisites.

You got a boost of your HS GPA. But you did not earn college units, and you need to take the math placement test if you want or have requirements for math at UCR.

Failed AP scores makes no effect

If you didn’t pass the AP test, don’t bother sending it. It won’t do anything for you.

How can I cancel the score then?

You don’t have to cancel it. Just let it be.

If you took other AP tests and sent those, the calculus score went with them. I think there is a way to prevent the score from going with the rest of them, but I don’t know what it is. In any case, it isn’t worth the work. UCR will pay attention to the tests you passed and ignore the rest.

If you told CB to send the score to UCR when you took the test it’s already too late to stop it anyway. And it just doesn’t matter.

I guess it doesn’t matter. I checked my MyUCR website and when I checked My Document, it says that they only received the AP tests that I passed. So does that mean that my failed AP test scores are not going to appear on my transcript?

They will just ignore the tests that you didn’t pass. It doesn’t affect your future here at all.
