I failed my driver's test!

Every state has different rules, so either call your DMV and ask or post what state you're in and see if anyone from your state specifically knows the answer.

i don't think you have to parallel park in California for the driving test... you just have to pull over on the side of the street and drive straight back while looking over your right shoulder.

You make me worried... =/

@ eclecticist - Actually, I find that driving on a highway is waay easier than driving on normal roads, all you need to do is stay within the lines, no yield signs, no stop signs, no red lights, just plain and simple and usually a lot straighter than normal roads and less cars too.

i guess driving on the highway depends.

if you get on, go 65, and stay in the right lane then it would be a lot simpler than driving on a road. but when you're going 80/90+, weaving in and out of lanes you have to be on your toes..

Any tips for how to stay in the middle of lanes? I always have a tendency to drive to the right of lanes and I almost had a collision by do that.

The thing I have trouble with on highways is switching lanes, which you don't have to do often on normal roads, not mention you're going much faster.

candaian girl..

the way that i drive is that i focus my eyes on the ground, in my lane about 20 feet ahead of me( and watch the other drivers peripherally)... if u focus on the center of the lane, and not the right side, u'll be in the center because ur brain will automatically send messages to ur hands to adjustt he steering wheel to go in the direction u are looking.

sorry if that sounds convaluted.. just try it and let me know!!
