I made some careless errors.

Console me please.

I made some careless errors.

Console me please.

everyone makes careless errors... you still have september and october if you're a senior, and if you're a junior, then you have a while year left.. i wouldn't worry about it too much.. there are more ACT's to come

In April I thought I got like a 25 ended up with a 29. The point is even though you think you did bad it may end up being good.

yeah that's true.. on the june one last year i thought i got a 27 or 28, and i pulled out a 30.. so you'll usually do better than you think you did

just remember it's better to be *ed off than to be *ed on.

I am very sad too. I thought I finally got that 33 and everything was going well until that science section destroyed me.

holds tissue

did you miss the mitosis and viscosity questions like I did?

I probably missed the viscosity one and ones on dialysis since I was running out of time and was panicking.

yeah, i had to RUSH on the dialysis one.. i think i was able to ballpark and get 5 of those 6 though.. so that's good, considering

I think I actually did a lab some time ago that had to do with this problem in science class.

Oh well, I still have my sat score... ugh......

Hopefully, I got anywhere from a 32-35, but I'm thinking 29-32 =( . That test, while very easy, was stressfull. I found myself having almost panic attacks during the test as I shook while taking the test. I have extreme standardized test anxiety- yes limited to only standardized tests. I am very angry at my performance today and my essay was very bad as well. I went with the cliche, america and liberties, prohibition, possible solution- ads with health statistics included. Hopefully when september rolls around I can pull out the 35-36. Don't feel bad though, it's just a test that you can take over and over.

honestly, i wouldn't expect to get a 35-36.

in order to get that, you need a lot of luck in addition to test-taking skills

well I am a really good test taker- at school I usually make the highest grades and I do well in math competitions-AMC12, and the AIME. THe only problem is I freeze up and have anxiety attacks when it is a huge test like the ACT, I can't seem to calm myself even though i get 35s on the practice tests.
As for luck, well today I had a huge amount of luck on the reading section. I had 5 minutes left and the chaos theory passage left- luckily for me I know chaos theory-my name was inspired by it-have studied it, so the questions came easily.

There are tens of thousands of valedictorians and only like 150 kids with perfect act scores.

plus at really competitive high schools the top 40 kids would be valedictorians at less competitive high schools.

To geta 35-36, you definetely need the test-taking gods to bak you in their light.

yeah, I learned about chaos theory from like some random cartoon, doug or something like that.

like a butterfly flapping its wings causing a tornado on the other side of the globe
