i'm getting these bump things on my lips...and i'm not sure if they are cold sores or not. i've never even kissed someone so how the heck would i have hsv..........fml

they keep appearing on my lips. i don't have any of the prodrome symptoms or anything..and thtey look like pimples but i'm not sure and im freaking out honestly.

i know it is disgusting...sigh

then other stuff is happening and i just really hate it. this pimple things are topping the list right now, and i dont know what to do

my mom says to drink milk or some stupid things...and she says "no no no no doctor, just drink milk, it will go away"...***....

any advice guys? have you dealt with this stuff before?

i see so many people doing so much bad stuff, like drinking and have sex at way young age, doing drugs, whatever. and nothing really happens to them…but then all this stuff happens to me. sigh.

I normally side with parents, since I’m one myself, but in this instance go see a doctor ASAP. I’m not sure why your mom would say this. If it is nothing to be alarmed at, let a doctor tell you so…

1) get over your elitist crap of “how come nothing ever happens to them!”

2) hsv-1 can spread through simply sharing a cup with someone. Just go to the damn doctor and get it confirmed that it is a cold sore already. They can either write you a script, or suggest an otc.

Seriously, your woe is me attitude is obnoxious.

If they are on the inside of the lip… I mean on the side of the lip that touches your bottom teeth… they might be “cycts” Are they cyst-like? do they fill up with fluid and later drain those are harmless… they are small and painless. I got one last year. they go away in like 3 days.

If it lasts more than a week, see a doctor.
