I feel like a failure- sort of. Help[ me feel better

I receieved a message concerning an African American Seminar in Notre Dame. The requirements were to: 1)provide an official transcript, 2) letter of recommendation, 3) the actual application, and 4) a check of 25 dollars.

I went to a counselor at my school and asked her for an official transcript, and told her it was for a seminar at Notre Dame. Apparently, she sent my transcript to the school (Notre Dame).

That's the only part of the requirement I have filled- the faxed transcript.

I feel like a complete moron because today I receieved a letter from the Direcotr of Pre-College of Admissions at Notre Dame stating:

"Dear Roshane,

I have received the inquiry you sent to our office regarding your status as an applicant to African American Scholars at Notre Dame. I am sorry to let you know that we are unable to offer you a position in the program for this summer.

Thank you for your interest in pre-college programs at Notre Dame and best of luck to you."

OMG! What the hell?! I didn't even properly apply! I feel like ****. Lol. Help me feel better. :(

o_O Can't you reapply? or maybe you could send an appeal of some sort...
OR...find a new college =)

It wasn't an application to college. It was an application to a Summer Seminar. I didn't even properly apply. But it feels bad that I got "rejcted." I feel like a loser. :(

If you want to feel like a loser, do so for a good reason: For not finishing the application for a program that apparently you had some interest in attending. I bet that you'd probably have had a decent chance of acceptance if you'd finished your application.
