Getting a 4 shouldn't feel this bad...

Oh well, I'm not planning on attending a super selective college. But it still depresses me, I enjoyed physics.

Oh well, I'm not planning on attending a super selective college. But it still depresses me, I enjoyed physics.

I was extremely happy that I got 4 on AP Phys B, but I basically self studied because my teacher didn't teach us ANYTHING. Literally.

if you check the past statistics for this test on the collegeboard website, I believe you'll find that a 4 is a pretty strong score.

That's the same way I feel for Biology. It seems everyone received a 5 around here, and I feel like a minority having a 4 (even if I do receive college credit). Even worse, approximately a fifth of the test takers receive a 5 (according to past CollegeBoard statistics). Also, I hear the percentage for a 5 is pretty low. At first, I even contemplated retaking the test! Insane, I know. But, I will just have to take my 4 and be content with it.

Like you and physics, I liked biology; the class truly rejuvenated my passion for natural sciences. I used to be social science/humanities oriented, but now, I plan to pursue a double (perhaps triple) major in the natural sciences.

-sighs-....i'm going to wait for the results in the mail...I can't talk on phone w/ a stranger..and pay that much money...so i'm hoping that I'll get a 5 on physics b....i think i didn't do good on MC part (I answered all questions)..and did pretty good on the FR..I managed to answer nearly all questions (didn't leave anything blanks...one or two parts I had no idea.)

If you got a 3 it would of been great, a 4 is amzing also.

You don't talk to a stranger; it's automated.

At my school, pretty full of kids who regularly get 4s & 5s on every AP exam they take, EVERY SINGLE PERSON in the history the school has either gotten a 1 or a 2. I don't know about this year, we're all too stingy to pay 8 bucks to find out early, but if I got a 2 I will be painfully disappointed. Everyone I knew walked out of the test depressed and moping about, complaining about how difficult it was. Honestly, I didn't think it was as bad as expected, so hopefully I pulled off a passing score. [4 please! :)]

well the reason you're seeing all these 5's is because you're talking to people on CC! I can say that the vast majority of the people who post on CC are people who are really into academics AND pride themselves in getting their 5's. I mean, would most people post their 1's and 2's? Have you ever met such a large group of people anywhere else that complain on 3's and 4's other than CC?

You won't be the only one after I get my score in the mail.
