This semester I got 2 B's, one in Spanish 2 and English 2 H. I'm really ****ed about the spanish one as 1 more point would've gotten me the A and then an A on the midterm would've gotten me the semester A. Is this really going to make a huge difference in my college chances?

Instant rejection.

Just kidding! You're doing fine. After Freshman year I waffled between B+ and A-, sometimes dipping as low as a B- in English and French, and I got occasional B+s in other classes like Honors US History and AP Chem. I was worried, then I got into MIT :-)!!! Then again, I had really good Extra-Curricular activities, which were a much bigger influence IMO.

So do as well as you can, but don't panic unless you're in danger of a B- or lower. I've kept a policy of maintaining at least a B- at all costs, and preferably an A. Get as many A/A-'s as you can reasonably manage.

I got two Bs and I just got accepted to Stanford. Chill, it's no big.

I have a bunch of B's on my transcript
In fact, I have B's from local community college courses that are weighted two times as much when i transfer it to my high school transcript, so imagine how much that affects my overall GPA, but i don't believe this will affect my chances significantly

In fact, if you can't handle a few B's, then maybe MIT isn't the right place for you
