I got a 27 on my ACT Practice Test. How can I improve?

Hello! So I’m a junior and I just took my first ever ACT practice test and got a 27: English 34, Math 27, Reading 25, and Science 25 :frowning: I’m aiming for a 34+ composite when I take the ACT with Writing in 3 months. I have a while to improve, I know, but I’m so bummed that I got such a slow score o my first try. My main issues are time management (shocker!) with science and math, and reading I just flunked for some reason. I really want a 34 when I take it, so if anyone would be willing to offer some helpful advice for prepping it would be much appreciated. Also, have any of you ever started with a super low score like 27 and gotten a 34+? If so, please share how you did it!

Looking at your scores, definitely take more practice tests, ignoring English. Usually scores in 20’s can easily be improved by learning strategies/ how the test works. Remember to bring a watch and pace yourself, this was my biggest blessing when I took the ACT. 34 is a hard goal but achievable on how hard you work!
