<p>I'm a student from Canada, but I really want to get into top colleges in the US. All my other grades are good(A or A+
in our marking system), but I got a C in visual art because my teacher is really strict and he doesn't like me very much.
I'm freaking out right now because it's gonna be a D if I transform my mark into American grading system:(((
Also I don't have to calculate my GPA because I'm international, but do top colleges pay attention to visual art courses? Will that affect my chance? BTW I'm in an art school even though I'm not art major, so the marking is really strict, I have never heard anyone getting 90+ in art......</p>
<p>They probably won’t consider it when looking at your transcript unless it’s like Art History</p>

<p>To my knowledge, many of the highly selective schools look only at the 5 main academic subjects. So you should be fine.</p>
