So I applied to all the big name schools Harvard, Chicago, Amherst, Yale, Princeton, Swarthmore etc… and I have a 4.25, 11 AP classes taken, 4 4’s and two 5’s on the tests I’ve taken so far, 5 b’s total in high school, 34 on the ACT. Anyways, I decided to take Calc BC this year and then AP Econ, AP Gov, APES, AP Lit, and French 3. I should get straight A’s except for Calc where I’m going to get a C I’m almost sure barring a miracle on the final. How will this affect my chances at these schools, like will it basically eliminate me from contention at the top ones and how negatively will it be viewed at the other ones?
It depends on the pool. A “C” can go either way honestly. You just need to study hard, get tutored, prep books, etc. How long do you have to pull up the C?
Finals are next week…
Oh wow. Sorry my school runs on a yearly period basis. I would just say study hard for the exam.
lol yeah that’s the plan. That sounds cool though so you guys only have finals once a year?
No! We have midterms and then finals. We’re on a 7 period a day schedule the same classes each day every day of the week. Same time and all.
