Hello, so I might get a C, C+, or B- in AP Calculus this semester. I have never gotten a C in my life and only a few Bs on AP classes. Will this hurt my chances at acceptance?
Current classes & Predicted Letter Grades:
AP Calculus: C, C+ or B-
Anatomy: A-, A
AP Literature: A-, A
AP Microeconimics: A-, A
Visual Basic: A
AP Physics: B+, A-
I’m applying to some good schools: Johns Hopkins, Dartmouth, USC, UofM, Northwestern, NYU, Boston College, Boston University, Notre Dame, Cornell, Stanford
Weighted GPA: 3.87
Weighted GPA this semester: ~4.03-4.1
Is this going to really hurt my chances? I can’t believe I’m so stupid
Not saying your grades are bad, per se, but you’re gunning for all of your schools to be top of the top class. None of those seem like a safety school and there is a decent chance you’ll get accepted to none of them(realistically, ONE will accept you).
One C isn’t going to kill you. But get some safeties in there.
