<p>I’m supposed to transfer to cpp this fall, but I just found out that I received a D in a class. I’m transferring with an Associates of Transfer degree and the class does not affect that. Will my acceptance be taken back?</p>
<p>It sounds like the class is more like a GE than a Core class…? A C- is usually the minimum passing, but some departments accept D as a passing for non-core classes. You should call the Admissions Office to check if they will accept the D. If not, then you should make arrangements to retake the class and let the Admissions Office know of your situation (that you’re retaking to replace the grade). Good luck!</p>
