I got a Finacial Aid Report....does this mean that I got in?

Hey everyone,

So I am applying to various schools (transfer from university to another university) and I just received a detailed financial aid report from one of my top schools! However, I haven't got a official letter of acceptance (or denial) from them.

Would a school take out the time to send a applicant a financial aid report if a student has not been admitted? Does this mean that I am most likely admitted? Are they at least interested? Or do they do this for all applicants regardless of admission status?

What do you guys think about this manner? Thanks! :)

Also when I applied to this school (and was unsuccessful) when I was a freshman I did not receive any information about financial aid…

Usually schools only send financial aid reports to admitted students. Recently though (past couple of years) there have been a few mishaps in which students denied or waitlisted have accidentally been sent financial aid packets, but this is super rare! You most likely have gotten in so congrats! But you should try calling the admissions office on Monday just to make sure and so that you can get the terms of your admission (all the dates for sending in final transcripts and stuff and information on sending in the sir and stuff). Again congratulations!

@katie Thank you so much! I hope I did!   Good luck on all your endeavors too :)
