Okay, im currently a sophomore and planning to transfer as a junior standing.

The problem is that i took so many classes already.
i took last fall and winter full terms (18 credits each), also took spring and summer optional terms (7credits each), and taking this fall and winter full terms (18 credits each) - by the way, 18 credit is maximum for each term. So that makes about 86 credits.

im not sure if i will be considered as a eligible transfer candidate at all. most of the schools say that they will not accept any students who have completed more than two full terms. well, i took two and a half, so...

the reason why i wanna transfer is because i want to totally change my concentration from biochem to finance. i hope this reason helps me somehow.

oh, i took tons of ap classes too… around 13 or sth? i dont even remember. those exams gave me extra 36 credits. that makes total 122. omg this is a lot. I AM WILLING TO RELINQUISH SOME OF MY CREDITS TO CHANGE MY CONCENTRATION FOR SURE.

It’s going to depend on the individual school as far as how many units you can have taken previously and if they will let you relinquish some of them. You need to go to the websites of the schools you’re interested in and if you can’t find the answers there, give them a call.

Excellent. You have a clear academic reason for the transfer! It is perfectly normal to transfer into the junior year. Don’t worry about that one.

You do not get to choose which courses to transfer. The receiving college/university does. They might accept all of your credits, they might accept none. It is most likely that they will accept your current courses for elective credit, and you will have to spend your junior and senior years focusing on coursework in your major.
