Ok so I'm planning on applying for the spring semester at the end of summer and summer school. Right now I'm sitting at about 20 credits. I had planned on knocking out a ton more this summer and fall before the move. Here is my dilemma. At my first choice of schools, the program I want to enroll in is listed as not taking transfers for that particular semester(Spring 2010).

They do however have undergraduate studies program, but you cannot have transferred in with more than 30 credits. Do I limit the number of classes I take this summer/fall to keep me under the 30? If I do not end up getting accepted it could have all been a waste. OR, do I continue pumping out credits and just declare a different major when I apply to transfer and try to swap majors once I'm a junior? Is it relatively easy to do this and how often do they deny switching majors? Any input will be well received. Thank you.

I think that you should telephone the transfer admissions office at this particular college/university and ask them. They ar the ones who are best able to advise you.
