hi, i was wondering how big it was...we're four people in it (ive got 3 roommates..which is a lot..right?)....

Someone on a Facebook group says they convert a room this size: http://www.housing.umich.edu/ipix/viewer.php?fn=SQLounge&pt=South%20Quad%20Floor%20Lounge into an "overflow quad."

Yeah, I forget the exact dimensions, but you definitely get more square footage per person than anybody in a regular room. The upside is you have lots of space and it's likely to be a "party" room. The downside is since it's not divided into two rooms like most quads you'll pretty much never have privacy, and you'll always have to go to the 9th floor/library if you want to get work done.
